Buildings in Wyoming History
Buildings contained in Wyoming's cultural landscape reveal American beliefs and values at certain times in history. The transformation of architecture can demonstrate how people have existed and the changing needs of communities. Buildings are the built environment, the immediate surroundings of our culture and the most prominent artifact on the cultural landscape. People and buildings exist together and interact together.
People walk around them, go into them, move up and down and about in them. We look at them from the outside and out of them from the inside. People work, play, live, and die in them. Buildings interact with the economic, social, aesthetic, and physical lives of those who use them. Buildings effect our day-to-day activities and our life.
