1) Wyoming law states that only school boards can approve charter schools, which would compete with public schools. Some say that school boards are reluctant to approve charter schools and should not have that power. Who should approve charter schools – local school boards or the Wyoming Department of Education?

2) One option being discussed for health care reform would allow the government to offer health insurance plans, similar to Medicare. Opponents say this would put the government in direct competition with private health insurance companies. Supporters say government health insurance would be far cheaper and there would be less of a chance of claims being denied. Should the government offer health insurance?
