Are you looking for a cool place to hang out and listen to bands of any genre in Cheyenne? The Bananza is a company focused on having a venue in Cheyenne for bands to express their musical talents, and also to bring a safe and fun environment for people of all ages. Teens especially don't have many options to hang out and listen to, dance to, etc. of music, so it is a good fit. It is alcohol free, drug free, and no fighting is allowed. They are located at 600 E Carlson St, Unit H, in Cheyenne, WY. Unit H is on the back side of the building, which is just west of Two Bar Bowl. Check out their website at: TheBananza.com for more information. If you have questions, please call Caleb Blomberg at 307-214-3700. If you'd like to know more about their mission, or to donate, go to: http://www.indiegogo.com/The-Bananza.
The venue ("The Bananza") is funded entirely by Caleb and his friends. They are striving to meet the next level: "It is the passion for more that drives me, and our team, to develop a program that allows people ages 12-22 to be able to come play music, create art, hang out, and build meaningful friendships after school each and every day. This program will also include; promoting awareness and prevention of suicide by offering a hope and unconditional love; providing underprivileged kids a place they feel at home; encouraging a healthy lifestyle by not allowing drugs, alcohol, or fighting as well as mentoring those in need of help with these things. Our state has the highest usage of meth between ages 12-22. Our suicide rate is going up for kids of any age. They need our help, and we are here to try to change our community and offer an outlet that will develop amazing individuals with bright futures. Through an environment that encourages individuals to develop positive attitudes toward themselves, their peers and their futures we can bring hope into lives." said Caleb Blomberg.
