Worship announcements
Coordinate blood donation appointments within your congregation
Recruit volunteers to work at Day of Giving
Set up
Parking lot traffic control, unloading donations
Greeters, guides
Registration table
Kitchen refreshments - serving
Boxing up donations
Child care for donors’ children while donating blood
Clean up
Recruit volunteers to man a table for an hour or two at Cinco de Mayo
Collect food and personal care donations at your house of worship or place of employment prior to Day of Giving. Deliver or call for pickup on that day.
Use your congregation’s message board, if you have one, to proclaim Day of Giving the week prior to May 9
Encourage recycling at Cheyenne Salvage and donating proceeds to Day of Giving account
